I love to snipe, and my favorite of the snipers is the L96A1. What really gets on my nerves though is the fact that the snipers do not live up to their real life potential like they should.
The L96A1 fires a .308 Winchester round that is more than capable of taking out an enemy with one shot in real life. This is why this caliber is so popular in deer hunting today. But in Black ops, just like all of the other sniper rifles, I get hitmarkers much too often. I am shooting them in the chest/head too when this happens.
To top all of this off, I am not even trying to quick scope(which I believe quick scoping is not truly possible in Black Ops by the way for all of the wishful believers out there). I am merely shooting just like a sniper should. I scope in fully, take my time, hold my breath while slowly placing the cross hairs on a STATIONARY target, and firing. Then what happens......that dreaded little white X pops up on my screen notifying me that I didn't kill the target and rubbing it in my face.
Does this happen to anyone else? and if so does it annoy you?
