instead of building your background & then placing a render on top of it, try building your background from your image. try using the same colors that are on the original image & textures from the image as well. what program are you using?

Colors don't flow at all....great job on rendering; though it looks like its just pasted on top. Try smudge its a great tool if you get the hang of it. Always try to keep your textures even.

Agreed!!! Colors don't go well together. Using the render colors, like Sakura said is a great way to blend the focal! Also if you do have colors all over the place another good tool are gradient maps, it will pull those color together. One other thing, work on text!!! Text is one of the hardest things to look good. It will make or break your sig. Try to keep it out of corners and closer to the focal but don't let it detract from the focal, keep it small and simple!!!!

Your not really using any blending techniques besides a blur on the first one, your backgrounds are way to plain, i have all those c4d's and textures you used to make up your background saved on my computer, you need to erase parts of the c4d that go well with the flow of the sig. Also try putting the c4d or texture over the sig erase parts and play with some filters and blending options.

Yeah Sakura is 100% right. She just describe the definition of blending. I also recommend reading through or maybe trying to imitate signatures from other people. Deviantart.com is a great signature tutorial resource. Also if you just started out and have no clue, youtube is your best bet. If you have any questions refer to any of the designers for help. I believe anyone in the design team except me you can refer to for help lol.
