THE NEW CLOUD TECHNOLOGY

"The July issue of Game Informer appears to have come a little early this year, and with it, news on one of the first titles known to take advantage of the Xbox One's cloud gaming features. The still unannounced title, TitanFall, will be a first-person shooter and mech-fighter that uses Microsoft's servers to process physics and AI, according to NeoGAF member Cartman86, who received an early copy of the magazine. Microsoft has yet to go into detail about what the Xbox One's cloud features are capable of — so far describing only simple graphical calculations, such as fog — but details on TitanFall suggest that it's able to handle much more immediate and important data, the kind of events that players are constantly interacting with."

This information along with small forum information is all they have released thus far. I imagine it will be a large topic as the release date comes closer.

http://news.softpedia.com/news/Xbox...onsoles-via-Cloud-Shared-Locally-359145.shtml

"Microsoft revealed a huge list of details about the Xbox One and its various policies, among which being the fact that a user's games library can be accessed from any Xbox One and that games can be shared with anyone on the main console.

The Xbox One received a series of rather upsetting details yesterday, with Microsoft confirming that a 24-hour Internet check is required by the device, and that used games can be supported only if third-party developers and publishers desire it.

A few more pleasant details were also mentioned via Xbox Wire, including the fact that Xbox One users will be able to access their entire games library from any Xbox One console around the world, as after installing the game for the first time, the title will be tied to their account and cloud settings.

What's more, on an Xbox One console with a valid game, an unlimited number of people can play it, from friends, to family, guests, or acquaintances.

More Xbox One details are expected to appear next week at E3 2013.

I heard that they are lifting a lot of the policies, cause the heat that it was bringing down. I mean come on, some of the stuff I heard/read was just crazy!!!!

The camera HAS to be plugged in and ON to do anything on line.. does it have to register seeing you, or can u put a diaper over it? lol

I heard from someone that is has the capabilities, that IF they wanted too... when you rent a movie on xbox live.. they can charge u 1-2, 3-4, 5+ people to watch it. and even not let it play till u pay, if someone walks in the room an starts watching... kinda creepy too that the Gov looks at MS for the Kinect camera tech lol

Paranoid much, If I was Paris Hilton or Justin Bieber then I would be paranoid. Why do you think anyone would waste their time to view your Kinect. People are just so ridiculous, every new technology with a camera sparks this huge debate which is unfounded and ridiculous. I am tired of talking about it before we are talking about it with cameras. If you want to miss out on the best release of technology because you think aliens are coming then be my guest, but stop dragging the rest of human society into your paranoid delusions and wasting our time with stupid.

Well, ACTUALLY I do have a condition, yeah I called it that lol of anxiety. But the thing is, it's not about some dude in the cia office staring at a screen that is linked too my kinect, its the fact that the software that is so awesome now.. that dude dont have to sit there an watch that screen. He can get a alert and pause his DVR and go check the program that flagged the guys face that was recognized via the kinect.

ask your self this... why have such technology in a video game, that is more advanced then what the gov. uses for recognition? rationalization is makes it more unique for each user, ok, cool.. but i don't want it to end up in 20 years, arguing with my console about if I am spending to much time gaming and not outside lol
demolition man- they banned bad foods! lol ok I know im getting off topic and joking around but seriously.

Kinda took offense with your reply, But I'll take it as opinionated free speech :)
It's not about aliens coming to beam me up an fiddle my diddle. its about the gov knowing when im in my living room, and not at work, court, drinking and then grab my keys to go get my wallet outta my car but see's ive been drinking and knows my weight, height and intake, and calls the cops to meet me outside Lmao..

;)
