As long as you can say somthing about other peoples topics and don't spam post, you will eventually rise up in the forum ranks. It just takes time. It helps when more people post so there are more topics that everyone can talk about.

You can pretty much post anywhere except certain areas that the guidelines recommend you avoid, normally they have to do with the subject of the matter but as in the general discussion area, you can pretty much post anything you want as long as it correspondes to the forum rules.
