TIRED OF YOUR CABLE COMPANY'S BAD SERVICE?

Ever since my family and I have moved here to Michigan, We've been faced with a really frustrating problem. Cable internet. Our provider is Mediacom, we moved to an area where their internet isn't available. We've been here for nearly six years, Mediacom hasn't made any progress on making a hub near us. I'm stuck with wireless internet. It goes at about .8 mbps, and .5 kbps, I realize that most of Mediacom's profit is geared towards television and phone services. We've pleaded with the corporation for quite a few years to rent or buy a building to create a hub (A hub is a station that lets nearby residents get cable internet), our attempts have been for naught. lol mine is fine... we get 16 mbps

It makes me host all the time. I always get avoids because I leave the game. (on CoD 4, where it ends the match if host leaves)

After fighting with 3 different techs, I finally have good service. Only 8 mbps are offered here, but somehow I'm getting 11... Which is cool but yeah, I host all the time.
Hopefully you can get some better service soon up north.
