i went with a bit of a less is more feeling while making this

I like the size and placement of your render and you also have decent contrast. However, I feel the designs in the backgrounds are a bit too bright and take away from your focal. If you had more of a mix of greys and blacks instead of bright white on a jet black background, it wouldn't take away from her so much. Not too shabby though ;)

If I were to do this sig over do you think it would be better changing the background flowers to a grey, or doing multiple shades of gray over the white background flowers?

I would try to add more grey to the black areas of your background. The white against the jet black take away from your focal so mixing in some greys I think would even it out. I would even add some grey flowers as well to help the white ones blend in.

well the only reason I havent posted cnc is because I agree with everyone else so I didnt feel like you needed to keep hearing the samething over and over, lol!! The background is way to dark for such a light render!!
