First thing I noticed is, you don't want to have anything over your focal(image), u should erase over it so it lookss clearer. Next is the placement of the focal, notice on your Sig by trickbind how it is over to the side, that's how u wanna do it, ill leave the explaining of rule of thirds to someone else . Then there's ur text placement , u don't want it over your focal but hugging close to it so it helps to draw attention to the focal. I'll leave u with this for now if u want to try the same image again, there should be a test image up sometime.

Well actually the black and red pixels was to made it look like ashes coming off a fire, I could quite get it to do what I wanted. On the text I understand that one but since it was a practice pic I just placed it in the middle.

Even if the effect you were trying is ashes from a fire, if you would have erased around the head chest and left shoulder it would have still given the same effect, maybe a better effect, and it would have made that focal pop that much more!! As it is the ashes are drawing all the attention away from your main focal!! Also definitely work on the text. It may seem so simple (its only text) but its actually thee toughest part of creating a masterpiece, lol. My suggestion would be to keep it small and simple starting off, and keep it of the focal!! Keep up the good work, keep posting and we will try to get you to were you want to be, to the best of our ability, lmao!!
