SYN Last Laugh

New member
I’m going to try and make this as accurately detailed as possible but I can promise you now that I do not remember too many specifics; especially in the last clan I was in because I was only there for a short while before both the clan then myself ended up going inactive. My name was, and still is SYN Last Laugh. Same account, same everything.

• What clan you were in – Syndicate. I am not positive but I believe it was Nocturnal but it might’ve been Syn Pride 7.
• What rank you were – I was a private, but with my time at Syndicate I was as high as a Captain.
• Who your General was – I do not remember his complete name but I believe it had Jack Daniels in it. But it might’ve been SYN DeVell. I can’t remember who came first.
• Who your Section Leader was – I honestly couldn’t tell you.

Because I do want this to be as accurate as possible, I want to note that it is entirely possible that I had transferred back into XDC so that may have technically been my last clan. If that’s not the case then I was in XDC before I was in that clan. At that time, to the best of my knowledge Sakura Kiss was the general of it and it was being overseen by XGC Tommygun XC. My rank there I believe was a Sergeant.

Now, when I left it was completely voluntary. I posted the following on my own wall:
“Since I have been inactive, and not part of a clan for some time now this was the only place I saw fit for this message.

This is my official resignation from XGC and all other affiliates. It has been great meeting certain people, and not so great meeting others. Don't feel you need to remove me just because I left. Those that have become my friend over my time spent here I hope to continue that friendship. However, if you feel you need to remove me from your friends list because I have left, then feel free to do so as well and there are no hard feelings. I wish everyone in XG the best no matter what. There is no hidden meaning in me leaving. I just never really found my niche in XG, so I plan on searching elsewhere.

Thank you.”

It was posted on 01-11-2013. It is still there. I had went inactive long before that; quite possibly as long as two years before that.
For clarity, where I wrote “Not so great meeting others.” There was never any drama or issues that arose. It was just a generalized statement because not everyone gets along all the time. If I didn’t enjoy playing with someone, I simply didn’t play with them.

So, with all that said, I did officially leave and not just go inactive. I didn’t leave because of any drama. I wasn’t kicked out for any reason. Most of my friends had left, and I felt like I kept being dropped into clans I was either not clicking with or clans that would end up inactive. At the time I was having home issues causing me to go inactive for months at a time, and I felt XG moved too fast paced for that kind of life since each time I was able to be active again I had to find an entirely new group of people to play with. So, at the time, it seemed like the best move was to look for something that seemed to be a better fit for my needs. I didn’t want to be the guy who found another clan while “hiding” as inactive, which was why I posted up that message on my profile. It was never about XG, it was about me and what I felt was needed at the time.

Since then, I went from June 2013- August 2014 without a stable internet connection. After that, I moved and bought an Xbox One and have just been playing solo or with friends since then. I also have a PS4 now. Now that I am getting into Destiny (on the PS4, but I do play COD: AW and Battlefield Hardline on the One) And I have plans on getting Blops 3 and The Division (For the one or the PS4 is still up in the air) I am actively looking for a clan and I couldn’t think of a better place than XG. I’m not usually one who tries to look in the same areas for the same things more than once, but that’s the beauty of the diversity of XG; no two clans are the same.

I'll check this regularly if you need any other information, or if this needs to be updated.

Side note: I posted this a few hours earlier, but I put the "Application Pending" prefix at the beginning and I'm pretty sure I wasn't supposed to do that, so I removed it and reposted it. It wasn't about bumping it or anything like that.

Edit: Re-read this, and wanted to give more information on why I wanted to come back. I joined Xiled Gaming in 2010 after finding a post about it on an Xbox Clan forum board. I signed up and I was lost. I didn't understand the difference between XGC, KOG, and SYN. I didn't understand the join a clan page. I was just completely confused. I wasn't able to get a hold of the original poster, so I left and let my account just sit there clanless. A few months later, I signed into my account and decided to post up something in the new members forum and I was lucky enough to be picked up by SYN Highlite. That was when I joined SYN Lust 7. It was my first console clan ever, and to this day the best time I ever had. A lot of the people that were around then are now gone but I still remember having some of the best game nights with them. I still talk to one of the members 4 and a half years later, and wish I talked to more. XDC was where I really learned how to make signatures, and I still make them to this day. Before that, I didn't know the difference between photoshop and paint. So, I've learned a lot with my time in XG even if I did feel I spent a lot of my time in XG bouncing around looking for that clique again. I don't believe I put in enough time, and just figured it would come to me like it had the first time. Even after leaving XG I was searching for that same type of group and came up short handed. Just as I felt that pull to come back the first time is what I'm feeling now and it's the reason I decided XG was the only place worth trying again.

Thanks. I appreciate it. Sorry that the details are a little light and foggy about specific people and clans. I tried to go through my friends list but anyone I talked to is gone at this point. I did the best I could trying to look through old posts.
