TURTLE BEACHES VS ASTROS

I've had both and I like my astros better. They're clearer and the sound pinpoints better. The turtle beaches weren't as durable and I mean if a part breaks on the astros yeah its a little more expensive but you can replace them.

I have the x32 and the sound is good the construction of them suck. I didn't have mine a week before they started breaking. The mic even broke off.

I've never tried the Astros but I can give you some information about the Turtle Beaches. In my expeirence with them they have broke, worn out, and have had a number of gliches with them. I've owned a pair of the x11 or the x32 I think and I've taken VERY good care of them and the longest they've lasted was three months. The sound sometimes shut off and wouldn't work, many of the parts would start wearing down in the first week, the wires in the cords are also very weak. If the cord were to ever bunch up the wires actually started pulling apart INSIDE the cord.

I don't buy Turtle Beaches anymore. I did get a pair of Triton AX-180's a few days ago and they're working like a charm. Even came with a free lifetime warranty. Best price and quality I'd say.

Yeah I would have to say that for normal, everyday use that the Tritons are the way to go anymore. The way they are constructed and the overall sound quality is very good if not better than the beaches and with the way they are made they are far more durable that Turtle Beaches. I ended up giving mine away and have been debating on if I wanna get a set of Astros. There is a reason that they use them in tournaments and everything in the professional setting, They are the best headsets known to man when it comes to sound quality. You could literally hear a pindrop on the other side of the map and know exactly what direction it came from. I fully agree with what someone said earlier about parts being a little more expensive but being worth it. It's all about the style of gamer you are really.

Yeah I can agree with most of what you said. The Tritons I got are really the first high end pair of headsets I've ever had though. I'm still getting used to them but as for the pindrop... well I don't know if the Tritons are really that powerful or maybe I'm just really not used to them yet. As I've said they're the first REAL headset I've ever owned. I'm just starting to tap into their power.
