Ok... This sig is pretty simple. There's no clipping masks or anything like that. All you really need is some good c4ds and a nice stock to work with. This technique can be used with a lot of things. SO GOOD LUCK!!
Here is the signature were gonna make:
Step 1:
-Make a new canvas... I made mine 400x130.
-it doesnt really matter what color it is because the stock will cover it up
Step 2:
-Click open as layers and open up your stock... i used a stock from the game "Darkwatch" i think it is.
- resize it until you get it to fit like mine
Step 3:
- Here's where it gets pretty complicated... Duplicate the stock layer and then hide the bottom 2 layers.
- Erase around the focal (The darkwatch guy) with a soft brush (the circle brush with the faded sides). Do your best to get rid of the white around him.
Step 4:
- unhide the bottom 2 layers
- On the original stock image, go to filters>blur>guassian blur and blur it at default settings
- Then set the blurred layer to whatever looks good
Step 5:
- Open up a nice effect c4d and set it to whatever looks nice
- Erase where it looks bad
Heres what i got
Step 6:
- I opened another effect c4d... and then i set it to whatever looked good
Step 7:
Heres my favorite part... Gradient mapping!!
-Go to edit>copy visible
-Then edit> paste
-make a new layer
-Set both your foreground and background colors to a light blue
- then colors>map>gradient map
- Set to whatever you like
Heres what i got
Step 8:
- Repeat step 7, but this time set your forground color as a shade of orange and the background to a dark blue.
- I set it to color
here is what i got
Step 9:
- Add your text and your done!!!
heres the final result again
DONT RIP FOR GODS SAKE!!!!!
Please gimme some rep
AND ENJOY!!!!
