NOTES FOR MEETING WEDNESDAY NOV. 14TH
Veteran's Day has passed, and I hope that everyone had the opportunity
to thank the veteran's. Each day that passes, has passed with freedom
thanks to them. As Calvin Coolidge said " A Nation that forgets its
defenders, will itself be forgotten."
Promotions- We need to see more activity from those seeking promotions.
I understand that there are some that do not wish to be promoted, and
that is fine. But understand that we do need officers, and good ones.
Ones that WILL do the work, and train, and be able to assist others.
Black OPS 2 will be the hot game this week, as is Halo 4 now. I see
quite a few people playing Halo 4. The interest in new shooter games
is high, as these hit the shelves just in time for the Christmas holiday.
Very IMPORTANT!!
If you come across a situation, where you are arguing with someone, and do
not know what to do. Just please please... State the actual facts of the
situation, so that we may assist. There have been reports of cases where
it is a he said/she said situation. Do not put yourself in a situation where
it turns into a heated argument. Just let the other person vent, but always
remember the actual facts of the situation!!!
Our gaming nights seem to be a success. I would like to however see more
attending. On that note, please do not forget about our 1st Spades Tournament.
Get in as much practice as you can. The tournament is Friday the 16th at
8pm EST. I will be sending out a mass message to remind others, and to get
people to sign up again, as quite some time has passed, and people may have
made plans.
I am seeing a lot of shooters on the squad, and am thinking of holding a
shooter night just for them. MIKEY1619 will be hosting. It will be a MW3
night. Please plan on attending shooters, as I have seen great progress
with our squads in keeping gaming nights together. I understand the
excitment of Black OPS 2, but take a hour of gaming time, and go back to
the good ole days.
At this moment I would like to thank those that have been actively
participating in gaming nights. It means a lot to me as a Captian,
that you all show great support in your community!! Thank you !!
Remember - Spades Tournament. Practice, practice, practice.

for both Golf Squad, and Arcade Squad. It is just easier that one person
post, instead of 2. Makes less confusion to others. On that note, please
try to make a habit of visiting the forums to check for upcoming events.
