I would say human because the Battle rifle is amazing but the two combined make for a sweet noob combo but i prefer Human

i would say human because the covenant are really ugly

I'd say Human by a slim margin, but only because I love the BR too much.

Sword > Shotgun (If both off-host)
Rockets > Brute Shot
Beam Rifle > Sniper Rifle (My personal preference)
Battle Rifle > Carbine

Everything else is, somewhat, equal to its counterpart.
