In 2010 of the month of February, I met 3 gamers. Two with XGC and the other with KoG at the front of there GTs. It was on Halo 3 and they were on my team. I asked whats with the initials and they gave the whole 10 yards. Overall I was impressed with how well structured XGC sounded, I got to see how they operated in a game first-hand and was eager to show them I had what it takes to be part of the XGC family. They gave me that chance, that night I had to go 1v1 with a KoG member while a KoG CO watched. 15 kills later I was made a recruit, made private two weeks after, and was fully to committed to the clan. Then Real Life hit me with a brick a month later.
I had to sell my console to help my mother with her medical problems and get a job to support my family. working 10 hour shifts back to back at the age of 16 while trying to maintain above average grades and take care of a bed-ridden mother didnt leave much free time for me to play. only time for work, sleep, and eating cup o noodles. Sooner than I knew it 5 years without games or XGC went by, life went on, and I never thought I would reconnect with XGC again until this year.
January of 2015 I happily reactivated my GT on an Xbox One after I had been gone so long and re-kindled my love of gaming but something was missing and I couldnt tell what until today. I checked my old e-mail to see if I had contacts e-mails of old friends and I see an unopened e-mail from Xiled-Gaming that says "Happy Birthday Lawrence from Xiled Gaming" and I did a mental backflip. Automated or not. It was fate that that I saw that e-mail and I thought "maybe I can join up again." and after logging into my old account on here and asking some questions found out how to be become active again and I can only hope Im allowed that privlege to be part of what I believe is one of the greatest gaming communities of all time.
Thank you for your time.
