WHY I LIKE HALO.

As many people think Halo is mainly for youths, they are mistaken. Than again it depends on their taste in video games. I any case, just like to vent on why I like Halo.

I grew up with the first Halo when the Xbox was brand new. It delivered a strong story line that was solid and not cheesy. The hard dedication to the title and story line displayed itself with out a doubt. It’s a video game that’s complete (like a tasty treat or gift) and it keeps you wondering what’s going to happen next.

Now ever since Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare came out, I switched over to that. Only because I seek realism as much as possible when it comes to a shooter game.

I thought my Halo days were done, but I was wrong. Halo Wars came out in RTS style, Yes! I’ve always been a huge fan of RTS games. In my opinion, this one blew away all other RTS titles that have been on the market for many years. I say that only because many of the RTS games don’t evolve besides hiding behind the newer graphics as they come. It’s sad really, but I hope Halo Wars has woken up the other games to step up it up already!

Oh one last thing, yes, the 1080p matters when it comes to HD graphics. :D

I like Halo for the competitiveness ( dont know if i spelled that right lol).....but i also love CoD 4 cuz its fun to play without worrying about going down in lvl and its very realistic..

I like how popular it is. Your bound to find a match in any playlist you try for, and regardless of everyone elses ages, its almost always a blast to play w/ friends/clan mates.

I love it for the same reasons as Oslo. Was the first true FPS I bought, was actually the real reason i bought my Xbox. Best game i had ever played, and remained so until H3. Other games were good, but Bungie had just gotten it right IMO. Controls, weapons, map layouts, post carnage reports, and a great storyline ontop of it all.

Not going down in level makes it more challenging. It also separates the people who are skilled from the people who are not.

i don't have a problem with halo but i don't play it much either and here's y...

As someone who's played every halo (except halo wars as i don't like RTS) i loved the first halo... it was perfect for it's time, and you can still jump on halo 1 today and get the same feeling you had then. I LOVED halo 2... at first there was so many new things (new weapons duel wielding etc) that i was skeptical, but it wasn't hard to adapt to... i think i would have liked halo 1 more, but halo 2 was better due to XBL... halo 3 seemed so different from the first two... it wasn't very noticable to most, but it seemed off. the sensitivities, the movement, everything felt like you just woke up from a terrible night of binge drinking (no not that bad but i'm just sayin) i really felt that they fixed everything that wasn't broken with halo 2. i don't have much evidence to support my case, but that's how i feel...

also i feel like halo 3 added too much... i liked the addition of instant replay and saving your games, but the tech seemed like a bit much... i'm kinda skeptical of halo reach and the extra like boost packs or whatever they r called... although i didn't play the beta i don' t know what it feels like... and i've been wrong in the past

I like Halo because where the reticule is with a sniper rifle is where you will hit unlike Bad Company 2 I mean I know it adds much more realism to the game but damn it why does the bullet have to drift so much
