WHY??

I would basically like to say that in my opinion this game plane sucks. For the 3 reasons alone:

1. Respawn points happening behind teammates that are already engaged in action. Resulting in a nice spawn kill for the other team...WOW!

2. The shadows are so dark that you can't see anybody, especially on the level where you are wading in the water under the huts. All that is gonna do is benefit the snipers and campers. I think that was already a problem in the game that was made -1.5 years ago-.(cod4)

3.Iron sights...really? I could be more accurate with a sling shot and beans. Also my major problem with this game is ITS THE SAME GAME AS THE LAST ONE. BUT IT WAS ALREADY 80 YEARS OLD WHEN IT WAS BRAND NEW??? All the same "in game" achievements in the Barracks. Isn't this a whole different development team? Then why did they steal the same format, then rock out like it was the next big thing. I mean really, with all crazy sniper commercials they were hyping the game with,( All to bump up pre-sales) they could of atleast let you jump in the trees in the multiplayer. Nah, that would be way too cool!
My friends own this game, so I play it sometimes. I've probably played it like 12 rounds total. Not to toot my own horn, but the last time I played it I went 23-6...I Don't Even Own The Game! Try doin' that on COD4. OK thats enough. And one hellauva long # 3. peace out....;) Snpr

I'm not sure it would make much sense using modern weapons and sights in a game based during World War II, which was definitely NOT 80 years ago.

yeah dog when do you think WWII was? like 1920? durrr that was actually known as the roaring twenties....which was directly after World War I, but aside from that misinformation within your post....

You just complained of camping in the shadows right? "The shadows are so dark that you can't see anybody, especially on the level where you are wading in the water under the huts. All that is gonna do is benefit the snipers and campers. I think that was already a problem in the game that was made -1.5 years ago-.(cod4)"-then you complain that you cannot jump into trees in multiplayer..."they could of atleast let you jump in the trees in the multiplayer. Nah, that would be way too cool!"-which would make it even more of a camping game and you wouldnt know where the sniping was coming from.

What are you trying to say here? "Not to toot my own horn, but the last time I played it I went 23-6...I Don't Even Own The Game!"-Call of duty world at war has the same controls and general gameplay as call of duty modern warfare...meaning since it seems you play or played cod4 alot, you would be good basically right away within the newer game. Let's not count in the fact that you could have gotten lucky, camped like all the people you complained about, spawn killed, like people you complained about.

Your first point in actually ON POINT, they spent a horribly small amount on spawn points obviously, but unfortunately it does not ruin the game or deter that much playing.

Personally, I didn't think it was near as good as CoD 4. It just wasn't as fun, its more or less the same game but with different sounds and all the stuff looks different. No huge changes were made aside from the obvious change of stuff that can't be there because of the 60 year difference.

Although I guess that's how most sequels are. I was just expecting better.

Your right i hate the spawn kill i think it should be random away from enemies but close enough were u can go to them easy but other then that It's really the only game i play on live besides Phanasty star universe.

I just got done playing a few games where I spawned next to a teammate and he was already getting shot at. There is no way to find anyone and shoot them, but its a game and we all have to live with it.

if you get in a game with a party full of good players, you shouldnt have a problem. alot of new patches are implemented and are coming, so be patient. unfortunately, everyone will be playing modern warfare 2 by the time they fix it.

i prestiged in just over a day, and then i stopped playing and just went in zombie mode. the main problem with the game is you run out of challenges well before the 65th level. anyone who doesnt average 30 kills a game will find this a major pain. theres just not enough points to get where you need to be

Some maps are worse than others. I absolutely agree that the spawns (or lack thereof) can be absolutely horrible and if you ever play with me you'll probably hear about it!

As for the shadows, try adjusting your video settings on your television as well as in the game. It helps quite a bit.
