Will Jasper save Microsoft from the "red ring of death?"
Xbox 360's with the newly integrated Jasper chipset have been spotted in stores and on the Internet. The Jasper motherboard and improved graphics chip are Microsoft's latest attempts at solving the console's ongoing woes with the infamous red ring of Death. Both GPU and CPU chips are 65nm drawing less power, which will have the new build running quieter and cooler than previous 360 models.<o></o>

According to a story on JOEyGADGET, if you're looking to pick up one of the new 360 builds you're going to have to keep your eye out for a manufacture date (MFR) as early as August 6, 2008, Lot 8031 and up, and Team CSON. Or if all of that just sounds like gibberish, you could hold off for a few months, after which we assume most of the 360s out there will be of the Jasper variety.
