Ok, first things first!
The effect is ridiculously strong. And you have too much effect on the focal. You always want to keep your focal clear. Also, the flow is just really really off. One suggestion would be to put the center of your radial effect behind the focal. Maybe that would help a bit. The text is big and plain. Also it's sooooooooo far away from the focal. My eyes feel like they have to dart back and forth to take in the entire piece. Try putting the text smaller and closer to the focal. Also, lowering the opacity of the text may help.

Sorry, I forgot that that background had a swirl, i focused on the belt. There was no focal effect in that fist one. Hopefully this one is better.

The focal would be the whole power ranger. Not just the belt. Also, when you resize, make sure that you are scaling him proportionally. What program do you use?

ok, i used his belt as a background, that is why there is a natural swirl to the image, the focal is the ranger. resizing wise, i think it was 203 w 199 h. I am using gimp
