hey guys i come up with a banner idea and was wanting a little feedback on it.

It seems really dark on the right side, empty i guess would be a good term, any way you could add similar lights that you have around the X into the lower right corner I think would make it look good. Other than that it looks great !

so your obviously not going to use mine ? you need another color just green is not very design ... get some flow in it drop the brightness on the flares they draw away from the focal also you use too much go alittle goes along way its not bad but its just as a design team id like to see more of design in it instead of bright words on a splatted bg

It looks good just need more effects lol it feels wierd since im a begginer tellin you this but it would fit in with rest of the sites colors.

ouch, lol. naw I'm wanting us to be able to rotate banners every few months. this way everyone has the opportunity if they choose too. thanks for the feedback peeps!

I thought it looked awesome haha, then again, that's how I sorta do my texts so that could be why haha. I like it though, if we're gonna be swapping them then I say keep it how it is and we can just do a new one

naw, nothing like that, besides i'm still want you to make the matching little banners for this theme. so when ya get them done pm me the links.

i asked twinky to make a header as well i like his style and think he could do a good job im not sure if he will do one or not ill work on the little banners after i get shotta situated no worries its all good

Sounds good, I'm wanting us to be the division that has the freshest look at all times.

thats what im saying we should do an incentive thing every month or so and let all the designers compete for the banner spots and then let the community vote post it in general discussion and all that it would let people know where we are at and that we are open to ideas but just media clan members can compete ???

Well i was bored so i tried to make one and failed miserably

its cool but monotone, try mixing it up some with the colors

if you're doing green only it does look monotone, but that's "supposed" to be the design sections color so its not necessarily a bad thing as most of the sites sections have the one color look to them. If you can execute a green/red or green/yellow kind of stuff it looks nice but other than that not many colors look that great with green, maybe some blues and stuff, but the one color thing isn't horrible in any way.

another option is just dropping the green from the banner entirely and go out on your own path, it would be cool to see what people could do, but it would also force the whole site theme to be somewhat dynamic as color. Maybe trying to use the whole color wheel rather than limiting ourselves to green would be cool too since we are supposed to be designers so colors are our thing right? maybe turn out like a rainbow looking site but using colors that haven't really been used would be cool i think.

i like the style the orbs the light streaks im all for new colors but the way the forum is set up you really need green in there somewhere just not all green
