Yes, that's where you can filter out most of the bad kid "wannabe hackers." I do networking security and setup and I can tell you that having an IP isn't really anything special. This site has your IP, Google has your IP, your Email has your IP. Basically, a ton of information is given out by your computer. To prove it, click on this link: IP Chicken. It just shows you how much info your computer gives out on its own.
So tell that Simplex H0M0 that what he did was nothing special lol!
