The thing is, stability isn't created by treating everything like it's temporary. That actually creates unease and turns the clan into a tight-rope that I have to try and navigate successfully. I'm not saying I want general for power hungry purposes, I'm saying it so a functional clan can get up and running and I can't do that if I have to ask somebody to help me do a job that I can just as well do myself. Not only can I do it, but it'll make things much easier. I know how this all works, dude. It's not my first rodeo and you know that.
