Hell yeah man ty. I'm enjoying it very well already playing with people from xgc was playing hockey with blankspot phantom and few others last night. I'm in a very good and supporting community and love it
Lol yea not many people know about them or sirienia I want to try and share my knowledge of bands and help other people learn about others bands they may not know about.
Lol, it's good stuff. I pay for Sirius, just so that I have a better selection when the bad stuff starts rolling in. At least with that I get a wide variety of genres to wade through.
My first metal concert was Sunflower Dead, Nonpojnt, All Tht Remains, and HellYea. I got to meet the meme era of Nonpoint and Jeanne Sagan and Oli Herbert. I was hoping Chad grey and Vinnie Paul would come from back and hangout with everyone but they didn't. But it was still an awesome show.
Lol, I'm familiar with Machine Head and Exodus, but not the rest. I'll have to give them a look. I don't despise all pop, I actually like alot of different types of music. I just can't stand over-produced garbage. You know the stuff, where it could have been written and composed by a third grader, and the only redeeming quality is that it's catchy because they repeat the same line 67 times.

And thanks, I'd have a full beard if it weren't for my wife. But then again I wouldn't really be able to function without her, so I guess it's a fair trade :D
I actually married into country. My wife loves country and I hated it, although I always loved southern rock like Skynyrd and Alabama. I've always felt that modern country felt either over-produced or uninspired. I've found a few bands and artists I enjoy listening to. Eric Church for instance sounds as if he's been influenced mostly by rock and blues, which makes for an interesting style. The only genre I really can't listen to is pop. I've listened to so much music in my life that I can recognize similar composition structures, such as chord placement, percussion sequences, and lyrical flow. I usually will stop listening to a song the 5th or 6th time they repeat something as well.

Anyways, I wanted to share some comedy on the over-production and marketing of music, but it's not appropriate for the forum, so I'll send the link in a pm.
Thanks! I grew up on the back of my dad's bike listening to 70's and 80's rock and just progressed from there. I really don't think my blogs are going to change anyone's life, but hopefully it will open some doors to new bands, genres, or sounds. If you have any groups or anything you'd like me to look up/post just let me know.
