ARE THEY KEEPING AUTO-AIM?

yeh ther decreasing it to alomost the way it was in halo 1
so now sniping takes MAD SKILLS (again).

They are going to keep auto aim its just not going to be as strong in snipers and some other game type I cant remember.

swipe sniping is real easy and i have never had a problem with the auto aim i always hit my head shot except those few messed up times it wants to play tricks on me

i think if they take auto aim off its gonna be more of a legit game i always get screwed over by auto aim if it goes im sure ill do better

They are keeping it but auto aim won't help you out as much as it did in halo 2.

Not only that, but auto-aim centers near the chest. I used auto-aim in H2 when I first started. I took it off after a little bit, once I had learned the controls. I recently created a new profile on my xbox and it was set to auto-aim. Not helpful. In order to be an effective player - you need to make those headshotz!

Anyways - I'm sure that auto-centering will be available. It wouldn't really serve a purpose for them to remove that feature.

I'm pretty sure you cannot turn auto-aim off in either Halo games. The only games I know of that you can disable auto-aim on for the are counter-Strike and Quake Tournament Games. Either way, turning auto-aim off for a console FPS would be a TERRIBLE idea due to the dual thumb sticks and controller in general. Games for the PC have no auto-aim because your reticule is controlled by the mouse, easier to aim up, down, left right, and horizontal and vertical slant ect. Halo 3 is decreasing it's amount of auto-aim but it will still drag your reticule away from the desired enemy by another enemy passing in some vehicle. Typical Bungie crap.

well i think they should take it off no doubt it helped me a lil but i think i can hold off plenty food without it and it will seperate the men from the lil boyz lol
