ATTACK DOGS

I either go up a ladder, or plant a claymore around the corner and camp some stairs...seems to be the best way if you get caught respawning away from you team

Flame thrower.... It demolishes the little pests. There is a spot on nuke town when there is attack dogs you go to the back corner by the yellow house(not the one by the swing set) and the dogs can't get you.

Attack dogs are much more effective in Multiplayer than the Gunship. The best advantage to them is that dogs cannot be shot down. I've also found that I get many more kills with my dogs than I do with my Hind. On the other end, I am not very good killing enemy dogs. You just have to have quick reflexes.

If you do a set up with a hind and can quickly get dogs usually i find that i get an extra ten kills on avg.

Dogs dominate because you can also run in behind them and attack the ppl trying to kill them.

Gunship is terrible really...

Run Blackbird, Chopper Gunner, and then Attack Dogs. Even if you only (note only) get nine kills, you still help out your team and you have a chopper gunner. I usually wait until I get attack dogs and then I'll call them and use the chopper at the same time. Usually people hide inside from chopper gunners, which...ironically, is where the dogs do their best work. On the outside, you dominate with the gunner. That combo will take me from like 12 and 1 or whatever I happen to be to like 28 and 1 or 30 and 1.

How to avoid them?

Ladders help, a LOT! As long as you have sleight of hand pro, and you have some sort of gun that has more than 20 bullets in it, you'll do just fine. Like I will have Galil extended mags with scavenger/SoH/ninja on it and it will wipe out attack dogs. Sure I've died a few times from them, but they are NOT the end of the world...if they are used alone. If they are used in a setup like I have, good luck. Batten down the hatches and just find a corner and pray you can see them before they can jump.

I can agree with every thing but the part about it just sucking...

I know people that are good and can get them and suck with them ...

It only sucks if the pilot is bad... I have avoided 2 Lock-ons
after flares in gunships all you need to do is know the map and how to fly

But the best pilot in the world still can get kids camping in rooms for the 30 seconds that you're being the best pilot in the world lol. Those attack dogs? Oh yeah, even if I'm being a total badkid at the chopper gunner, I'll still just wreck and get a lot of kills because the dogs will carry the extra weight. If I'm just having one of those packs of dogs that are like puppies and are afraid to kill, I usually have a magical "Everyone spawns outside all the time in clusters" chopper gunner moments.

It's flips and flops. It may not truly "suck;" however, it does detract from your game and you aren't able to do two at the same time.

You can't do a chopper gunner and a gunship at the same time...but dogs and a gunship? That's like perfect synergy there.
