I think the reason they dont have silencers for the sniper is because the recoil would be horrible because the .50 has a muzzle break and you would have to take that off to put on the silencer. If any of you dont know the muzzle break is the thing on the end of the barrel with the holes in it and its job is to reduce muzzle flash and the recoil of the gun.
I've been tellin people that for a while on here, in those exact words actually.
The reason there are not silenced snipers, both in real life and the game. And this goes for all of the assault rifles, light machine guns, and even the P-90 cus it shoots a powerful round for an SMG. The bullet is movin so fast comin out of the barrel that it makes a sonic crack. It sounds like a bunch of bedsheets ripping in half in a fraction of a second, and yes, I would kno.
sounds like you know your stuff, i ment to say the M21 before lol. if you miss one shot with the M21 you can take about another four with it because its so blunt and as theres no recoil it doesnt have that much effect on where you're shooting... all in all - M21 in hardcore all the way! im pretty sure you cant argue with that right???
hmmi personally use the m40 reg scope for long distance sniping maps but anyday i will run around close quarter maps with an acog M40. no chance so easy to no-scope kids with that. heres no scoping with the M40 acog 101: run up to target make sure target's vital ograns are in middle of screen slowly squeeze the right trigger. BAM. dead. teehee
I would agree with the M40. It has such a powerful and accurate shot. The M21 is a great gun as well, yet if you develop M21 skills and takes very little time using the Dragonov to realize that the Dragonov is indeed superior to the M21. You just have to know how to use it.
The one reason i think the M-21 is better is the lower recoil. And someone said oyu would have to take the muzzle brake off to put something else on the barrel, no, you could have the barrel that extends out beyond the muzzle brake threaded and attach a suppressor so enemies dont see the flash.
to me it depends on the situation. If your laying down some heavy cover fire as the designated marksman then I would have to use an semi automatic rifle, but if I was sniping people and i took my time I would use a bolt. I would us the M21 for the cover fire because of the low recoil and i would use the M40 for my sniping.
well i personally use the R700 just because it feels better for me but everyone has their opinoins and stuff so i cant rele say what sniper is the best cuz everyone is different
