HOW TO OPEN YOUR NAT SETTINGS FOR INTERNET GAMING

Because he's trying to visit the forum. The site still logs all activities, but bars him access from any and all parts of the forums.

Dude thank you so much!!! I have a Belkin so it took almost 2 hours to configure everything but I realized that everything is the same only 192.168.2.1 instead of 1.1 but anyways thanks again!!!

hi SYN Chandler XL, was considering buying an open nat router till i read this. As you know something about the subject. My router is moderate nat. In what ways will an open nat help. I'm using a 360.

Obviously I'm a tad late in replying to your inquiry, but I do in fact have an answer. Having an open (unrestricted) NAT setting helps dramatically when trying to find games in matchmaking. I have seen several routers in stores advertising that they are optimized for online gaming with unrestricted NAT settings. Personally, you'd be dumb to buy one if you already have a router considering you can simply open it yourself.

The settings are relatively the same across all brands of routers. They pretty much all try to mimic Cisco's product.
