To be honest, I'm not trying to discredit Farah Faucet, but in reality she didn't do much to make an international impact like Michael Jackson did. Michael Jackson was a pioneer, a genius that could turn a simple bass riff into a well known song that I'm pretty sure everybody knows; Billie Jean. Michael could dance and move like no one had ever witnessed until the performance he had at the 25th Anniversary of Motown when he first debut the Moonwalk. Michael donated so much of his money to charities, more than any other artist has ever donated. Sure he did a lot of things that raised a lot of people's eyebrows, but everybody is so quick to judge that they are too ignorant to listen to the other side of the story. All the allegations made against him about child molestation we fraud, you think I'm lying about it? Google it, I dare you to. Jordan Chandler, the kid that made the allegations back in '93 recently made it public (after Michael's death of course) that he lied about the molestation allegations. All for what? For money, cause people will do anything for money. I know that there may be a good amount of people that got annoyed with all the media coverage on his death, but you have to understand that this is a one time deal. The King of Pop is dead. Michael Jackson accomplished a lot during his lifetime and I believe that the memorial was the right thing for him, his family, and the fans. So many people gathered around and held hands and sang Heal the World and We are the World all around the world. Who knew that Michael Jackson's death would make that big of an impact? So for those of you that got annoyed by all the hype on Michael Jackson, stop being ignorant and have some respect for Michael Jackson.
i respect his work in advancing music but i dont really think they should have had the whole world reeling i mean i can understand international news but really i mean the day it happened when the local news here in iowa found out they actually interupted a tv show to announce it the nintendo wifi news thing had five different stories on what happened i dont think its that big of a deal people die more are born yes they should have a memorial but why send an unnecessary shockwave through the population i mean i have some friends that had absolutely had no idea who he was but then after he dies it seems everybody on the planet knows everything about him it could just be a publicity stunt i mean hes got the money to stage it and everything and now all of asudden his cd sales jump, not trying to be mean here but if you think about it "Hmmmm"

I respect the fact that he was a great musician, entertainer, etc.... but this wasnt the Pope. This wasn't a sitting President, a Civil Rights Activist, a Nobel prize winner, or Saint.....
It was Michael Jackson. We mourn his passing, but ultimately... its dumb to give it this much attention. Stop talking about it Fox news!! regardless of whether he raped those boys, spent more on pharmacuticals in a month than most of us make in a year, how many platinum albums he sold.... Dude was weird.

I agree with this post 110%, he honestly is getting more attention than I personally think he should, they just wont let this guy rest in peace, hes gone, and there's absolutely nothing anybody can do about it, he probably died happy being the fact that the poor man was in the news just about everyday before he died.

ya i love his music still today its a bummer tht the legend is dead but he is and now the world will b the same like when elvis died they said it was a hoax but ya that's wat i have to say about his death
