Stephanie Meyer put a lot of hard work into those books.
And I can't believe people are out there bashing it.

"None of that would ever happen!"

1. Vampires don't exist so you don't know for a fact if they do or don't sparkle.
2. Edward is heterosexual he loves Bella. Love like that DOES happen.
3. This book can be found in the FICTION section of your local bookstore, why? Because it's FICTION, of course none of that would ever happen.
4. You can not hate something, if you've never given it a chance. (take me and hip hop for example, I've tried time and time again to get into it, not gonna happen, I utterly can not stand it because those people singing sing about some of the worst stuff, their music videos are usually inappropriate, they set bad examples for the young generation, and they never say "dont do drugs" or "don't drink and drive", some role modles!)
Read all 4 books, if you still feel that it's a corny/cheesy book, then fine, but at least you took the effort to fully understand.
It takes a lot of hard work to come up with a successful story like Twilight or Harry Potter.

At first I bashed upon Twilight. I thought it was a book created for the purpose of knocking off Harry Potter. I, myself am a huge Harry Potter fan, so natural when competition arises I will dislike it lol. But then I told myself how could I hate a book I hardly know anything about?
So then I went out and bought the first book. I barely got into the first few chapters and I was already enjoying it. Then I got to know Edward more and I just naturally started liking him. I really idolize him lol. The way he presents himself is truly remarkable and the way Stephanie wrote him out was perfect.
See what gets me is the whole fact on how people bash how sad the story is. As in "Oh she fell in love with a vampire, shes a failure and the vamp is not." I mean I could literally post hundreds upon hundreds of videos of people hating the book, when its just fictional. IMO they're jealous they don't have their own Edward r0fl.
But Doc I'm in the same boat as you as loving Edward. He's awesome.
And now I want a Edward sig lol.
