I thought the ripple kind of had a good effect because of how much it looks like hes straining, like his neck muscles

Yeah I have been recently really into Photoshop and signatures and the such so I went online and found a few tutorials and made a Halo2 userbar. Please feel free to give me any feedback on it and feel free to use it if you like it.

EDIT: I am not sure why but the quality is crappier then what I am seeing.

yeah it is crappy.

BTW when you saved it, what file type did you save it to? if its .jpg or around the jpg format yeah, done use it, it makes images crappy. you shall save it in the .png format cause it makes it look clearer

*edit* im using THE GIMP 2.0 so i have no clue how to actually resize the image without taking any part of the image off, if i knew that much, my Userbars and my sigs would be killer awesome (its the reason why i dont do sigs)

Ahh yeah I was saving them a .jpeg because the image host doesn't allow those file types.
