Usually with technical questions. Live connectivity problems, where to look for answers, general questions pertaining to XBL. Simple stuff, pretty much anything that can be answered using readily available information from the website.

The idea behind it all was to give the Live Support staff & Mods some breathing room re: easy questions, and help get the members of the community into the habit of helping others. I guess it was a success

I'm an xbox ambassador. I get a lot of questions regarding connectivity issues, how to change account information such as Windows Live ID, Passwords, Credit Card info, ect.

Today i got a question about license transfers. Just your basic stuff that someone who has been around for a while would know the answers to, or be able to find the answers to easily.

If you know your way around xbox and you have a pleasant disposition, as well as an Xbox Live account in good standing, you can apply to be an ambassador.

Thats the main reason I stopped participating in the program. It was great helping people on Xbox.com and Live, but I'd much rather focus my time/energy on our community/members.

I always have my computer running with the forums up, and I have my MSN Messenger linked to my Ambassador Questions, so it's easy for me to just accept the quick and easy questions that I already know the answer to and I kind of get to pick and choose when I do it. So for me it works, but i can see how it would be time consuming.

I'v done my fair share of ambassing. And ultimately I think it helps some of the people, but the Ambasabank is filled with repeat questions.
