SYN LAST LAUGH'S APPLICATION

This started out as a smudge sig, and kind of went elsewhere as it went along. The entire background (That ended up blocked by his massive wing) is smudged. There is a galaxy stock over it all that is completely smudged, as well as a star stock that is half smudged over it. I'll do more, especially a full on smudge but I liked the way this one was coming out way to much to smudge it all.

I like the idea of this but feel the execution is flawed. The render blends to much, I would try to overlay a duplicate of the render at a low opacity to try and make it stand out a little more.

I duplicated the overlay I had on him, so now there's 2 overlays at 20% opacity.

Disclaimer: Now, I know in XG we follow the basic rules of signatures (Rule of thirds, one render, eye catching focal point) and most of my sigs have that, but as a disclaimer there are many sigs that I make that dont because they're supposed to end up looking like a stock image that just a few effects were added to. That was the case in the original, where the text brought your eye to his face rather than him popping out. So, just a heads up that you will see more like this from time to time.

Edit: I also like to add that I do appreciate ALL the CNC, and I'm not arguing with any of it. They are all good tips and pointers. I don't mean to argue (if that's what it seems like I'm doing). I'm just pointing out my artistic flares that go along with my sigs, not justifying or arguing anything having to do with application. :) Just wanted to make sure that was out there.

good work on these sigs. your text could use a little blending, but thats a little thing. lets see one or 2 more sigs and we'll see about excepting your app.

I did a little more blending with the text this time around.

And just so it's out there, this wasn't to fill his request. Fuum Fuum is a long time friend of mine who asked me for this sig to replace an old one I made for him back before Steve Smith (The render) got traded from the panthers to the Ravens (That's also why the faded stock has him still on the panthers. He requested it that way)
