I think they use it as an incentive for younger military personel. They can't buy beer normally before the age of 21, BUT if you're on-base, apparently you're free to drink.

"Yes, you can drink with us before you're 21, BUT you need to fight for us"

Guns are cooler anyway, and (most) available at 18, sometimes before :D

There's always a catch..

Well if your under 21 and want to drink, just come to Australia :)

Lol huntress it would be a hell of a lot eaiser for an american to come to canada to drink ;) Drinking age in Alberta is 18 lol and Bpley Gang violence is on the rise in Calgary although like you said no where near comparable to the states but our gun registry was outed by Calgary's chief of police he said it was hella useless and even more illegal guns are floating around now :D

ontario is 19 isn't it? that's the closest part of canada to me... but i don't have to worry, i'm 23 and am legal everywhere...

and you still aren't legally allowed to drink when you are under 21 and in the military, but i'm sure they often look the other way

if i am not mistaken, EVERYWHERE in Canada except for Alberta has a legal age of 19...

Alberta is 18.. and im not sure about Saskatchewan

Good point Bpley costs less if you go there ..oh well you miss out on all the aussie girls being amazed by your accent and the beaches, we have amazing beaches here

yes alberta does not have any beaches as there is no ocean.... never been to australia, but my sister in law LOVES it there....
and you will never hear me complain about aussie girls...

i LOVE the aussie accent :p

but we do say roof different, because we pronounce it how its spelled... ROOF not RUFF

Yes about that beach party, I don't live near a beach but I'm up for going to the beach and partying there..Sigh, I wish it was summer here freezing my butt off here you guys are lucky it's summer over there :(

dont worry huntress.... i live in northern alberta... much like Black Wolf.. (south central alberta) we pretty much onlyl get a few months of summer in a year... so we make the best of it...

although the weather isnt solid yet... it is STARTING to warm up here and stop freezing at night... how about you black wolf?

and what temperatures do you get to in winter huntress?

Well we hit 19 today so that was warm but last week it was just blizzard after blizzard >.> I have said it before I will say it again god damn Canadian spring's

Lol except for the states this year you remember the news when the states was getting hit hard all along the east coast there? Lol they shut down half the country lol and us canadians are just like hmm business as usual if it was us getting hit with that weather lol

Well lets see, you guys don't use Celsius so it's 3 degrees Celsius here so that's 38 (thank god for converters lol) I'm not use to this weather, it's more colder here than it is in Sydney and wind, I feel like my face has fallen off because I can't feel it any more..
