who ever says the sword is for newbs is wrong bungie put the sword in the game for a reason in ffa's sometimes everyone can have the same score then just whoever has the sword can easily come out above the other's so personally if you get to the sword before anyone else more power to you but consider if you have a br and sword or shotgun and br? they all have their different purposes use'em to your advantage

WRONG!!! its a ****** weapon for a game your playing going against everyone else, no teams. If its a Team game. Everyone has a good weapon on a team game, you'll be perfect. Team games always depend on 3 things.

1. Great Communication
2. Weapons Everyone has (At their Experteise)
3. Skill

i always felt that the sword was as nooby a weapon as the plasma pistol...and yes u can kill some1 with the sword with a shoty almost any time...host shoty is basicly the ultimate weapon to hav...no such thing as host sword now is there??

host sword can just lunge from a farther distance and lunge quicker they are move leathal than a host shotty sometimes because u can shoot them they move so fast

I like shotgun b/c the bullets travel instantly as opposed to the sword, u can get killed with the headshot from a battle rifle most of the time if u fight a team and u go and try to kill one. And ppl aren't as likely to know if u have a shotgun out b/c it's waay as not obvious as a shiny sword.
