Right now im gonna have to say black ops is my favorite COD game

My Pick:
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Why?
Because It had so many good ideas and have perks that Modern Warfare 2 didn't have, and the gun stats were different. There's not as many hackers/boosting lobby invites as Modern Warfare 2 and not as much Infection or modders as Waw. I enjoy CoD 4 because it's so amazing and fun filled ^^!@

While i love all COD's i have to say that COD 4 was such a game changer as far as online FPS gameplay, and COD as a whole. It was a more or less perfect game and one that they have played off of for 2 additional games now.

yes! also competitive gaming got started from Cod:4 which now turned causal gamers to hardcore gamers

COD 4 Was the best shooter game by far every call of duty that has followed after 4 has failed hate to say it but its true. I think Black ops 2 should be a decent game from what they have said so far. We can only hope lol.
Let's hope. I mean Cod series honestly went down ever since Cod4 in my eyes. but maybe black ops 2 can change that around

Black Ops is the best COD game ever made. It was well balance and I never had a problem with snipers running around. It was the most realist game. I hate quick scopes its so unreal. The maps were also very good. Most of the maps were the right size. Didnt have many big maps. I like how kill streaks didnt add on to the next one.
it wasnt really balance cause some of those guns were like shooting a air soft guy to someone! It took forever to kill someone and by the time you killed like 8 people you have no ammo left. THat was the main reason why I didnt really like the game

COD 2 for mod matches and sniping matches since the scenery wasn't see through.
CODMW for 1v1 cage matches and sniping as well. Gaming with friends is a lot of fun. Actually took skill unlike the other newer ones.
CODMW2 was pretty good for the TEDDY BEAR hide outs. (a lot of people didn't realize or know the teddy bears were added in because one of the developers daughters died from cancer while they were making the game. she died with a teddy bear in her arms. The ones in the games are a tribute to her.)
and last but not least, CODMW3 was great, but still has some flaws, not enough maps with foliage or anything, it's all just urban warfare maps.

yea, and i think the campaign is the best part of MW2 and MW3 for the full story of soap Mctavish!!!

I like Modern Warfare 3. I did recently beat Cod2 on veteran, let's just say-I lost count of my deaths XD
I was sooo confused on MW2 campaign cause I had no clue who was on the good side and who was on the bad side, also I was mad when Ghost died

This question sits on top of a very obvious fallacy; therefore many of your answers may be deemed incorrect.
I do not have an answer for this, though I will offer that my favorite one so far was CoD MW2.
I thought the maps had many differences to offer. The guns were balanced, the story line was thought out, and the overall gameplay was smooth
