Ever since falling short in Super Bowl XLI, it's been a rocky offseason for the Chicago Bears. Sure, coach Lovie Smith signed a contract extension to stay in Chicago, but his team will be without its leading rusher from the past two seasons after Thomas Jones was traded to the Jets. And Pro Bowl linebacker Lance Briggs says he won't play for the Bears again, upset with being slapped with the franchise tag. Adding to the Chicago's troubles, defensive lineman Tank Johnson was sentenced to four months in jail for violating probation in a 2005 gun case despite testimony by his coach and teammate Brian Urlacher
