Negative on free, you have to pay for playstation plus. About 50 or 60 bucks also for a good bit of the games you need the playstation eye so thats another 60 to 100 bucks depending I'm not sure. Also what playstation didn't say is that you will have used game fee (just like XBOX) that you will have to pay towards the developers and who knows what else they have kept from the public. But now that Xbox has resend their policy I'm definitely all for xbox even more. I was going to get it before but now I will even more so, we all know the negatives with Xbox we still guessing with the PS4.

yea i currently own a PS3, 2 XBOX 360s and a Wii. I have owner at one time or another PS2, PS2 Slim, PS, N64, Gamecube, Xbox, PSP, Gameboy(original, color, ds, 3ds), super nintendo, and nintento. I am a gamer to the core, and i can say that xbox meets the needs of gamers better than ps3. Also the controller feels weird not shaped for the human hand.

Exactly I feel the same and i've seen their multiplayer it is pretty junk. I think Xbox live is easily accessbile for gamers while playstation is too confusing especially if you've been on Xbox for so long. As much as you guys are saying switching over just remember some of your favorite titles don't cross over to playstation, right now you guys say oh well to that but you'll eventually end up buying it anyway so you can play those fav titles that you had when you were on the 360. Just saying, not trying to talk anyone into not "switching over" just stating the obvious cause you know how microsoft is with the Xbox one exclusive games.

I play online with the PlayStation its simple and I don't really play Xbox exclusive games. All the ones I plat are cross platform compatible

not saying everyone has to play exclusives....for that matter i love xbox, but i can def get down on some PS exclusives like God of War and Little Big Planet!!!!

well it wasn't specifically to you reserve I'm just saying about everyone whos changing over, you may not play the xbox exclusive games, but games like Halo, titan fall, and all other exclusive games I play and I dont really play playstation. I want a playstation 3 because I had a playstation 2 back in the day and loved god of war 1 & 2 but since I didn't have the ps3 I couldn't play the third one which looks amazing. By no means am I bashing the playstation system and saying that I wont get it I just prefer xbox over playstation but I do plan on getting the playstation 3 and 4 in the near future. But for everyone to just knock the xbox because of few things you don't particularly care for I just think is ridiculous because for those who do play the xbox exclusive games will get it. So like I said it wasnt aimed towards you specifically I just think you guys are just getting overly ridiculous with saying I wont get the xbox one or i'll switch over to ps4. One way or another you'll wound up getting both or just one (its your choice) for which ever game system has your fav titles not for which is better. We're gamers thats the only thing we should be worried about when it comes to these systems, thats my opinion if they are coming out with a system exclusive game that you've played on the older generation consoles or just a new game that you want to try out that should be the only thing. Not because it's free or because you have to pay something because whether we like it or not each console has their negative that we won't like about it but will still get it. But thats just me.

i gotta say i like how they handle ps network with not making people pay... but how long can they do that.. or is the "Cost", losing ur personal info to a hacker?

xbl would be better i think if they made more dedicated servers, which i do believe they hve for next gen
