Alright everyone, I've been dragging this application on too long with no response from me. I've just been too busy with things in life to sit down and kick out stuff. I don't know when I will be able to free myself up again, but I don't want to keep you all wondering whats going on. So I'm sorry to say but I think I'm going to withdraw my application for the time being. Maybe I'll try again in the future when I have all my crap worked out, but in the meantime I just won't be able to help out much here.

Gots work on you blending, and depth . Also a lot of your renders are diffrent colors then the back ground, it all looks plain and copy and paste. I do like the gun one that's gotta be the best you have. Try using Google to find some gimp Tuts. I got a gimp tut I think may help if you need one.

I agree with sicafoose youre blending & depth could def use some work.
as far as blending, when building the background, try using colors from your render.. that way they tie in together.

dont forget to do both test images weekly & good luck!

Well do guys, oh sicafoose, can I have that tut you were talking about? I went and looked up some stuff but it wasnt working out( meaning I failed at them). I also have some from a friend and I'm attempting to do those.

If you need any help with using and some tricks on blending with GIMP, I had used GIMP for quit some time before I switched to Photoshop!!!! Also I believe SnowFall uses GIMP!! You can hit me up any time!!!!

Yes sir TommyGun, I'll be sure to ask as soon as I know what to ask for...I don't know if that makes any kind of sense, I hope it does haha I'm just kinda going around touching buttons and seeing what everything does, Oh and using the tuts.

Try and keep your effects from covering up the render the sig is very bland color wise

Agree ^^
when you place a ton of effects on top of your render/focal point it becomes crowded and starts to become unnoticed. its okay to place a few effects around the edges to sort of tie it in to the background but make sure places such as the face & chest are uncovered by effects. those are the areas you want to be noticed the most.
also, try not to center your focal.. not sure if you know about the rule of thirds but you can read about it here.

you definitely have potential, you just need to work on a few things ^.^
