It's not gonna "Crash" the site so to say, it will just try to get everyone on it at once to post so maybe some more people start to like it, I say If that "Crash The Site" thing is really happening I say we bump the time back to like ohhh about 7 pm cst...Because it's on Sundays and a lot of the people in this community are still underage and still have a bedtime lol Just Sayin'.
guys i think everyone who has a facebook add xiled as a friend and then we can send out an event invite to see how many people we can get together for this "crash the site" event. maybe we could get more than five thousand although i would be extremely happy with that number. but come on guys if were gonna do this let's do it right

i don't believe 5,000 people are going to sign on out of the blue. And yes some people have to be in bed early on a Sunday, why not make it Friday or Saturday and I wonder if signing on just counts...

you should shoot lower then 120x40= 4800 members..
That is the average amount we should have between all divisions active members.. 120 being the amount of clans and 40 being an average of members between each clan.

i guess if the people that need to be in bed early leave themselves signed in then it shouldn't be a problem for them

Hey saw this thread so figured I should clear up some speculation.
Reason for choosing the date and time:
XG is a mature gaming community meaning the majority of the community is adults. Yes there are alot of kids who have school the next day. And yes people have to work too. However we cannot please everyone. This time was chosen because the majority of the leaders will be on at this time due to the generals meeting an hour before. Also alot of clans tend to have their meetings around this time. So it is the time when alot of people will be active. We must remember also that XG covers numerous time zones so setting a time that might be best for you, may not be best for the rest of the world.
The date and time will not change because we do not want confusion. The more we change it the more unlikely we will get a good turnout.
Now our goal is 5000 members, some say wow thats very large and unlikely. Yes I agree but its a goal none the less. I am expecting to see around 1000.
Will the event happen again?
Of course why would I have a one time event!!!
This event will occur again but I am waiting to come up with a date and time, till after this one happens.
There will be a forum thread up for members who get on to come post their name to show they were there. After the event the thread will be closed.
We are asking that while people are waiting for all the members to get on that you explore the forums and join the chatrooms. We are trying to get the chatrooms used =) !
The event will only last to a max of 30min given the site doesnt fail. so it will not be time consuming.
And yes you may just sign in, make your post, stay logged on and go to bed. Its fine with me!
If there are anymore questions on the event please pm me, or post on the thread in the generals forums, or I suppose you can ask here I may not respond right away though.

Dead i never knew they were alive.. In the almost year i have been in XGC i have yet to see more then 5 people in the chatroom at once -_-
that's a good idea snowfall...just log in whenever you get on the site and if anyones on great if not then well you get the point lol...and what's yall's views on the "crash the site" event? me personally i think it would get the site to stay updated more if we had more people on and more people willing to help maintain the site.
