hmm... i was a CAP. and my GEN would let me read the speech off. since i did always bust my gears off recruiting! plus i did alot of CAP classes when they first started the classes (i forgot who started it?)

I think it would come down to the general to decide, if they want to delegate the tasks to others wihin the clan then that's ok, but the general will be the one held accountable if things go wrong so they have to trust those they allow to do these tasks within the clan.

Well that was horribly written, too tired.

lol, well get some sleep =)

yeah i had permission, heck i got bounced around clans to help them build (hence the high amounts i have recruited) had permission from section and division and gen. alot of my recruits i have seen are still in XG =) makes me happy to see that too. alot of them are passed my rank (Captain)

Clearly the clans would be much better off if you were in it i mean dear god you recruited a clan a year i mean 77 people a year...

if we had more people like you we would be better off

the problem i have when i try to recruit people is they say oh i was in a clan and we had to do this and that and the list just keeps going. we need to show people that were not just another gaming community that were different than those crappy community's they were in. so does anyone have any ideas on that?

i have many ideas =) and i never left XG i was just inactive (had my box stolen at gun point) =)

i am back now and i believe 007 is working on where to put me =)

first things first, we dont want to call the other community's "crappy" there are successful community's out there and i would honestly say they learned from us but most community's prefer to be bossy!

Many community's out there dont offer what XG does offer.

You need to be honest with them and explain to them what we do offer. best thing to do is if your talking to a possible recruit have your PC or laptop ready and read off some of the things we do and what cool events we do, and another thing to toss in there is let them know how big we are and how many clans we have (that will make there eyes be like "wow") and since i see that your in SYN you may want to tell them about XGC, KoG, XGG (if the possible recruit is female) SYN may not be there branch.

You need to explain to them that they also can just sign up to the web-site and see for them selves what they will be looking at. if they like then you just got your self a recruit. i was a recruit freak but i did get alot of turn downs but i gained more then lost.

also keep in mind, when i did alot of recruiting and told them about XG they assumed they had to be bad *** to be in the clan (like most community's out there they wont let you in less your good) XG excepts any kind of player, even if they really suck at the game. thats were they can come to us and improve there game play. i actually had a recruit that joined XG and was very horrible at halo2, he got help from alot of XG members and ended up going to MLG's.

if you need any help on anything else then hit my profile up. =)

"the key to success is communication"

"to be a good leader, one must listen"

" you may lose 3, but you will gain 5"

^some saying i have told XG members to keep in mind when recruiting.

I have been in XG twice, well kinda. first time it was pretty dire to be honest, went inactive after a while but never actually left. Joined Section 8 and learned from the experiance I had of how not to run a clan from how the initial clan I was in.

Basically did my own thing in Section 8 and I now love XGC.

you will learn and gain many things from watching what you see going on in your clan

or if your a lower rank, say captain then you will learn from your Gen if you pay attention.

dont be scared or nerves to ask your Gen questions you need answered

=)
