If you look at my videos I always add a copy right disclaimer in the info and if they take the music out you can fill out a form on youtube to get your music back... basically just copy and paste the disclaimer and you should be fine!

Yea, MW2 colors are kinda funky and look weird sometimes in videos. Honestly though for a first video is was pretty good. Next week will honestly tell us more, it is always hard to judge a first video cause you don't have anything to compare and see where you are improving or where you are getting worse. Also, 30-40 secs of video makes it even harder to critique since there really isn't much there to critique.

thanks! & ill do that disclaimer thing thanks for the tip! so then that means i can use any song right?

Pretty much I haven't ran into any problems. The Warner Bros, music corporation is the biggest pain with Copyright stuff and that will be where most videos will lose their music. But, because you are claiming the music and you are putting to your own video it is your right to do it.

Also, if you don't "own" a hard copy of the song you can always download the youtube video of the song and then split the video from the audio and keep the audio! :) Another hint! :)

Usually the use of copyrighted music will result in the video being blocked in certain countries (where the music may be licensed under other labels) and the only serious consequences will occur when you have had multiple infractions.

I had a channel for displaying backgrounds with licensed music and nothing severe ever happened. Only people in Croatia and Eastern European countries could not view the video, which didn't matter.

But those people are always on youtube! You lost so many views and thumbs ups! LOL (Just Kidding)

Totally lol.

And avoid using music from SME. They love to block content in NZ/Aus which does have a large viewing population.

Sony Music Entertainment. Luckily a lot of their subsidiary labels don't seem to be blocked otherwise I imagine heaps of videos would not make it this way.

And yeah, most dupstep is independent or subsidiary of a major label so it should be sweet.
