These are some fractals that will help you add effects to almost any image. It's a good thing to play around with them, try doing different styles like addition, burn, multipy, ect..

adjust the colors of the fractal to the theme you want, maybe even dodge or burn it to add light sources or correct existing ones. That file is safe i swear. All of us have downloaded it.

Now that's where being a designer comes into play. Every image we create has dozens of layers, using anywhere from 2 to 10 different images. Play around with just one for now, but its your choice.

I have so much school work right now. It is hard for me to have the couple hours to play around with anything right now. I apologize but I will put the work in when I have time.

The actual Koi Fish started as a black and white tattoo drawing that I colored in and then put the fractals behind it.

Had time to play with the fractals.

Looking better.
The koi look a bit low quality, but if it was drawn, then I understand. I'd personally take a small smudge tool and run it along its border to make it seem more seemless.

Since you lost some quality when you colored it, try it again and stay black and white. Desaturate the fractal to make it black and white as well. Always remember its a good idea to sharpen something after you resize it.

Yeah I sharpened the image 70 percent after before coloring it. I placed a transparent layer on top of the drawing to color. Then I moved I moved the layer back behind after it was colored. The haze may be from the pencil shading that was already on the drawing. I can fade the edges more.

My personal advice is to stay away from animation at this point in the process. We want to know you can do basic images before you add animation to them.

I still feel like it's oversharpened. The water spalshes around them, I'd take a smudge tool and smudge from the waves out to the border in a wavy pattern to help facilitate blending and making it look more complete.

This is my first time on in a little while. My math is really kicking my butt. I just bought CoralIdraw 6 so that will give me something new to play with. I was just really busy with school and kindave running out of new ideas for what I wanted to do. Hopefully the new program will help me get things moving agian.

Our Clan is doing zombie signatures for levels passed on Black Ops II. Made these tonight.

I got the new program. Watching the tutorial videos for it and trying new things. I like it a lot. It keeps the images a lot sharper than GIMP.
