Personally, I really like it. The text and picture placement works great. I would change the text up a bit meaning not having a bevel and maybe choosing a different text style. The render is sick for that wallpaper though, nice job.

Yeh its cool how the banner says it all, We an all game community and i think it fits us 110%... I think they should use that as the main banner, one thing i think they should add onto that banner is maybe animated text for the XILEDGAMING PART or something to make it stand out a lil more, other than that its really good...

ok well then yu odnt know waht you talking about, Chocobo's is one of the best and you saying you dont even like it at all... What wrong with you?!? I think it kicks @$$... ;)

What I think needs work in it is it's organization and blending, you can't rely of renders alone, she needs to not fill the screen with it, also make them blend into a background more, so it'll look more clean cut.

To tell you the truth i see nothing wrong with the blending to add so many cahracters in there and blend them together is hard enough, one thing i will add is if it had some animated backround such as the blue bit at the back had a shine effect going from one side to the other that would be cool....

other than that i think that should be our new home page banner, Cheddar yours are cool too but as a community chocobo's really stands out and i think she's done a great job ...

I was just giving advice, that would be my job, I'm not saying no, and I'm not trying to prove mine better, I like hers too, I'm just giving it some constructive criticism.
Regarding animation, that'd be tough to do, it can tend to make it look over complicated, but I've been brainstorming some ideas for it, but organization is our current focus, I'm going to open up a suggestion thread soon, where community members can give us their ideas and opinions about what you think we should do, or ideas for site design.
But I don't mind community advice, I highly approve, I'm defensive towards some because it's my job to make them improve, I tend to be a little rough around the edges, but doing so has a purpose :)

I think they are all good; I like Chocobo's and Cheddar's last one. For signatures and other graphics, I guess using too much would not be wise, but for something like our main page banner, it works.

I dunno.

Just an opinion.

Yeh i see where you coming form cheddar and i guess we leave it up to you guys in the design team to do somethings great that fits all the criteria... I look forward to your suggestion box and ill throw my idea's in... :p

Whelp i was giving a tutoring session to one of the m8's on this site

Yeh i thought it was you, you can learn alot from Pixie bro so keep at it and keep doing those tutorials and in no time your work will be in tip top shape... ;)

Hows is coming along thou? are u getting there...Remember to keep it basic like he said and take it from there...
