It’s that time of the year again, folks. The time of year when Spike TV names that ONE game that they consider being superior to every other game that has been released this year. That’s right, its VGA time… and despite going up against some pretty stellar titles , and being perhaps the most glitch-ridden game to be released this year, Skyrim has claimed spike’s game of the year award.
The competitors Skyrim beat out? Batman: Archam City, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Portal 2, and Uncharted 3. While the aforementioned games may very well be phenomenal (and likely close to glitch free), the people have spoken: Skyrim is the king.
Once you look past the plethora of (here we go again) glitches, it’s easy to see why it still won. In giving you a beautiful open-world environment to do just about anything you please, and an abundance of quests to do in said world, Bethesda (also responsible for fallout 3, and oblivion) has created a game that is very easy to get lost in. Let’s not even get into to the nearly endless character build options. Some may disagree completely about spike’s decision, others may still be celebrating. Regardless of what side of the fence you may personally stand on, fact is Skyrim won.
*It’s also worth noting that Bethesda won studio of the year, as well.

(SYN Darkyy XS) Well it stems from Valkerie, I love WWII history and when generals needed to be demoted they sent me to do it.. thus Operation Darkery, demote the generals

Me and a few others left because it didn’t look like the higher higher ups were going to fix the issue. Highlite, Silvia, and I never meant to cause any harm, which is why we all came back the syndicate was truly our home

Call of Duty is a name every gamer knows. It has been a very popular and successful game franchise, but will the new Call of Duty game be what we want to play? MW3's release date is November 8 of this year.
The game is going to run at 60 frames per second, double the normal 30fps, which will allow for smoother gameplay. From what I have seen thus far the graphics look great. The story line continues from MW2 and looks to be just as action packed as the prequel.
There is no doubt the single player will be a satisfying experience, but what about the multiplayer? Call of Duty is know for its highly addictive multiplayer, and there are plenty of new unlocks and games to fulfill everyone's needs. There are 49 weapons to unlock and plenty of perks, as well as the removal of annoyances such as One-Man Army and Commando.
One aspect of the new game that sticks out above others is the addition of a survival mode. This stems off the popular special ops mode from MW2, I believe this is IW's attempt to rival the monster that is "Nazi Zombies". However survival mode will have a new twist in that the enemies no longer need to hit you, now they shoot back.
MW3 is coming and it is going to bring a lot of surprises and new twists to the Call of Duty franchise.

Most of us can say that we grew up playing pokemon games, watching the anime, or even collecting the cards and playing those with friends. But how many of us can say that we have done the nuzlocke challenge in a pokemon game? The nuzlocke challenge is considered the hardest challenge a trainer can do in a pokemon game because of it's unfair rules and the care that trainers have to put into planning their battles.
The nuzlocke challenge also called pokemon hard mode was introduced to the 4chan goers by a poster named Nuzlocke (hints the name of the challenge.) He released his playthrough in the form of comics. They quickly became popular, so it wasn't long before people started recording their own playthroughs of the challenge and posting them online. While many people have tried this challenge, only the elite few can actually succeed in topling the notorious "hard mode." The first game the nuzlocke was played on was pokemon ruby and get this the trainer didn't even succeed at completing the playtrough, Ironically he lost at the elite four. It wasn't until he retried nuzlocke on Pokemon firered that he was actually able to complete the challenge that he had created.
The core rules are simple enough, any pokemon that faints in a battle is considered dead and have to be released, the player can only catch the first pokemon encountered in each area (routes, caves, etc.) Other rules may be included into the challenge but they are not mandatory, these rules include nicknaming all of your pokemon in order for you to form a stronger emotional bond (that one is just mean) counting a black/white out as a game over, or the mercy rule allowing you to use three revives the entire game (I suggest that rule for beginners on this challenge.) those are not all of the rules but the ones that I consider the most important.
Many versions of this challenge have been created. However the weirdest version I have ever encountered was the nosleepnuzlocke where if you went to sleep the game is over.
As the game goes on you will form bonds with the pokemon you were forced to catch making the fear of them "dying" even more troublesome. As well as making the taste of victory even sweeter. But perhaps the rule that makes nuzlocke so hard is the fact that you can only catch the first pokemon you encounter on a route and if you kill that pokemon and are unable to catch it you cant catch another pokemon on that route.
So for all you die hard pokemon fans out there next time your playing pokemon next time your playing pokemon and want to challenge yourself give nuzlocke a try you would be surprised how hard it really is. Just be warned you get really attatched to the pokemon you get even if you don't want them at first, they will grow on you.
